Quick Write : The Fault in Our Stars
I think Peter Van Houten wrote the book “An Imperial Affliction” because he understand what the patients have forced with cancer. He is sympathise with patients with cancer and he writes books for people to better understand what the patients has been through. The book title ” An Imperial Affliction” has show it details that cancer makes them hurt a lot but the patients still hopeful that one day their illness will be cured.
According to a book “The fault in our stars” of John Green. When i read this book, i had more knowledge about cancer’s patients. The patients have been force the cancer illness. Nowadays, cancer is still an illness that most of the doctors can not cure it completely. The title of the book ” The fault in our stars” of John Green, i think “The Fault in Our Stars” comes from a line in a play called Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare. The line goes: “The fault, dear Brutus is not in our stars / But in ourselves, for we are underlings”. This quote is suggesting that nothing is to blame for all of the world’s evil-nature but ourselves. John Green is suggesting something different- sometimes it is up to fate. Hazel never wanted to have cancer, Augustus never wanted to lose a leg,and Isaac never wanted to lose his eyesight. The whole novel is swarmed with innocent teenagers who had their life destroyed by an inevitable illness they had no input in. John Green wanted to show that despite the fault in our stars, people can still survive.
